Billie Joe and the boys are back with their latest album titled '21st Century Breakdown'.
Reprise records are at the helm of the band's eighth studio album. Green Day's last record the two time Grammy winning 'American Idiot' sold over 12 million copies worldwide.
21st Century Breakdown is split into three acts: "Heroes and Cons," "Charlatans and Saints," and "Horseshoes and Handgrenades."
Songs include; "East Jesus Nowhere," "Before the Lobotomy," and "Restless Heart Syndrome."
Rolling Stone called the album "even more ambitious than American Idiot" and "a record of die-hard punk ideals... tightly scripted, continually ascending classic-rock excitement."
You may well be aware of the fact that I'm an avid fan of The IT Crowd. It really is one of the best comedy shows around.
Father Ted writer, and all round comedic genius Graham Linehan, is behind the amazing IT Crowd and I urge you GFTV readers to check it out, (if you already haven't).
It hosts comedy's finest satirical wonders such as, Chris Morris, Matt Berry, Ash Atalla, Graham Linehan, Richard Ayoade, Noel Fielding and Chris O'Dowd.
I'm praying the fat cats at Chanel 4 will give Linehan and Co. a fourth series.
Below, is a clip of the fun times representative of the show.
It seems all you lovely GFTV readers want to read about Harvey Kinkle. So I've been rummaging around the internet, and I can now happily tell you HE'S STILL ACTING!
Ridiculous to think I know, but Harvey A.K.A Nate Richert, was (kind of) recently in a movie called 'Game Box 1.0'.
In this straight to video venture, we see Harvey play the role of Charlie (for which we'll still call him Harvey), a video game tester. He gets to play games for a living and reports on any malfunctions or improvements to his superiors. Brilliant! However, there is more to this idyllic job than meets the eye.
Harvey becomes depressed and reclusive after his girlfriend is randomly shot dead by a crooked cop. One day, a mysterious package arrives at his home containg an odd looking video-game console (which doesn't even need to be hooked up to a TV) lol. Of course he is intrigued by its appearence and plays it. BAM! He is sucked into a virtual reality/poor man's 'Grand Theft Auto' world.
Wait for it... all the characters look like people he knows. It just so happens that Harvey's the good guy, the bad guy is the cop who shot his girlfriend, and his late girlfriend is the woman he has to protect in order to survive the game!
So what does Harvey Kinkle do when he's not making terrible movies? According to Wikipedia: "Currently, Nate is a musician and part of a bluegrass/americana duo, C. Duck Anderson and Nate Richert"
AND THERE YOU HAVE IT!
Check out hilarious the trailer for 'Game Box 1.0' below. P.S watch out for the 17 second mark it brings the lols.
Today was a typical boring Sunday, (chocolate or no chocolate) until I stumbled upon this little gem. It goes without saying that we all know who Heidi Montag is. The Hills has permeated through our TV sets and into the very fabric of modern soceity. Even boys watch it.
With any scenario imaginable being a distinct possibility for Montag, I guess it should come as no surprise that she's managed to squeeze a music career inbetween all the 'Dramz'.
Naively, I thought that talk of Heidi "I love Jesus" Montag's venture into the world of pop was a joke. But after a string of releases via the internet, it seems she's not giving up any time soon.
I can only hope you laugh half as much as I did!
Below is a "teaser" (just to keep us on our toes!) of her latest synth riddled song.
So I bit the bullet and went to see 'The Haunting in Connecticut'. My friends and I arrived at cineworld but me being the idiot I am was looking at the wrong film times. We drove out to Dundrum on misinformed cinema info (cheers Ciara) and waited for another hour before the film was actually on.
At last we were seated, and after two days of Coke advertisments it started. I'd read about this film ages ago. It's based on a true story, so I was looking forward to finally seeing it.
I guess I was let down as it was not as scary as I'd anticipated, the acting wasn't great and it overall failed to hold my attention. I think I sent at least three texts during it. (I never do that)
